Our client called us to provide a skunk removal service from a backyard in Brampton. We learned that there was noises in the main floor from the client. The noises she explained sounded like something of a bigger nature than mice. We had to investigate! A technician found a chimney cap damage after a full inspection of the roof. Looking at the damage type and evidence we were sure that a raccoon was entering the chimney.
looking at the picture, you can see plain as day how powerful a raccoon can be. You can also observe the raccoon hair on the chimney screening. This clearly identifies the suspect pest as a raccoon.
The removal process takes but a few nights. Raccoons are scavengers, so they tend to go out every night to forage for food. We finished our work on the chimney and the raccoon left the chimney shortly after. While on the roof, we noticed that our raccoon may have been resting in her secondary den. And to our surprise our skunk was right below!
